Open Bite

An open bite is where the front teeth do not overlap the lower teeth. This is caused by oral habits like finger sucking, tongue thrusting, or when the jaws don’t grow evenly.

Over Bite

Normally, there should be some kind of overlap but when the upper front teeth protrude over the lower front teeth such that they do not touch at all; which can result in an overbite.

Crossbite

When one or more upper teeth bite on the inside of the lower teeth, this condition is called a crossbite. This can happen on either one or both sides of the jaw & affect front or back teeth.
